Are You Eligible for Assistance?

 If you can answer YES to the following questions, you may qualify for help from Siuslaw Transportation Solutions with your vehicle repair costs:

• I have lived and/or worked in Florence, Reedsport, or Mapleton for at least the past 12 months.
• This vehicle is my primary means of transportation.
• I do not have the financial means to pay for the needed repair(s).
• I have not received assistance from Siuslaw Transportation Solutions (formerly Rods ’N Rhodies) within the past 24 months.
• The vehicle needing repairs is registered in my name and has a current Oregon registration.
• I have a valid Oregon driver’s license.
  
  Please Note:

Siuslaw Transportation Solutions provides help only for safety-related repairs up to $1,000. We do not cover routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations. A program representative will contact you within 5 business days of receipt of the application. The next step: Please retain at least two estimates from a local certified auto repair shop. We will need a copy emailed to us.

Once we have that, the board will discuss it, and we can potentially assist you with some or all of the repairs if they are within our parameters. 

Our board meets on the second Wednesday of each month. 

Decisions will be made at that time, or sooner if possible.
